Player Background
Sean’s connection with NY HOTA Bavarian SC began at age 13 as a player in the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL). He earned selection to CJSL Select, state, and regional teams, and trained under top coaches including HOTA’s own Alphonso Mondelo. He also spent summers in Germany training with clubs such as 1860 Munich, TSV Erding, and FC Falke Markt Schwaben.
Coaching Experience
Sean spent 19 years in Australia coaching youth and senior programs. While there, he worked with premier clubs and junior academies, including Sydney FC, where he collaborated with World Cup winner Pierre Littbarski to design youth development programs. He also led multiple title-winning men’s teams in Australia’s state premier leagues and assisted AndGoSports with player recruitment, helping athletes earn U.S. university placements and even professional contracts.
Philosophy
Sean believes in teaching players to love and understand every aspect of the game. His approach emphasizes goal setting, a positive and disciplined environment, hard work, respect for others, and consistent communication.
