Playing Career
Jordan was a standout defender for Southern Connecticut State University, where he earned NSCAA All-American honors three consecutive seasons—a distinction achieved by only one other player in the school’s history. He was named the 2005 Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and 2006 Connecticut Collegiate Player of the Year.
In 2006, Jordan was selected in the MLS Super Draft by the Chicago Fire. Among 150 players invited to the MLS Combine, he was one of just four from Division II. He went on to play three seasons with the Fire before a hip injury ended his professional career.
Coaching Career
Jordan began coaching at age 18 and has since worked with eight clubs across Connecticut, Illinois, and New York. He served as an assistant at his alma mater, Southern Connecticut State, and later spent four seasons (2013–2016) with Adelphi University’s men’s and women’s soccer programs, coordinating strength and conditioning while assisting with daily training, match preparation, and gameday operations.
At NY HOTA
Since 2013, Jordan has been a dedicated member of the NY HOTA Bavarian SC staff. He currently serves as trainer and coach for the 2008 and 2011 age groups, focusing on both player development and team success.
Philosophy
Jordan combines his professional playing experience and academic background with a commitment to developing players who are technically sharp, physically prepared, and tactically aware—while fostering resilience and love for the game.
